The Academy has launched!!

The Glam Academy Shrewsbury

Hey dolls,

Today we launch our blog about all things GLAM! — and today I’m absolutely buzzing because we’re celebrating the launch of  The Glam Academy in Shrewsbury!

✨ If you know my vibe, you know I’m all about empowering beauty, confidence and turning dreams into careers.

Located in the heart of Shrewsbury, the Glam Academy is more than just another training venue — it’s a space built for those who want to bring their passion for beauty into a profession.

The team behind the training is the same team behind the successful Shropshire salon; The Glam Studio (which turns 10 years old next May!!!) and we’ve made it our mission “to deliver expert, high quality education, industry insight and unstoppable confidence to every student who trains with us”.

What I really love about this place?

  • Small class sizes: it’s intimate, supportive, judgement-free — huge win if you’re nervous to dive into beauty training.

  • Real-world skill coverage: we’re offering professional beauty skills + business knowledge (hello, beauty-boss mindset) so you’re not just trained, you’re empowered.

  • The location: Shrewsbury feels like the perfect base — charming, supportive, with that local-community warmth.

  • We’re full of that “glam sass” energy: we will give you passion, purpose and a profitable career.

The academy is all about professionally-focused training in beauty, and with the level of detail we’re promising, it’s exactly the kind of stepping-stone someone who loves brows, nails, lashes or beauty treatments would jump on.

If you’re in the Shropshire / Midlands area and you’ve been dreaming of doing beauty rather than just being edited by it, this is the kind of opportunity you should be checking out.

Here are a few tips if you’re thinking of enrolling, make sure the course you choose is right for you:

  • Visit the academy in person: See the space, meet the educator, feel the atmosphere. That’s a big deal.

  • Ask about the kit and tools: Make sure the training uses up-to-date products and techniques

  • Think about the business side: If the goal is to be self-employed, ask about how the course supports that (branding, clients, portfolio).

  • Consider your schedule and budget: Small, intimate groups might cost more, but the investment is worth it if it sets you up for real career growth.
